Child Criminal Exploitation including county lines Training helps learners to understand the complexities involved with child criminal exploitation and county lines issues and be more aware of how to recognise individuals most at risk, why young people respond in the way that they do and how children become implicated.

Course Content
On completion of this full day training course participants will be able to:

- Understand and act upon concerns regarding children and young people at risk criminal exploitation.
- Understand prevention strategies.
- Gain an understanding of various scenarios through practical case studies.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the definition and types of criminal exploitation and county lines.
- Demonstrate a basic knowledge of the risk indicators and vulnerability factors.
- Demonstrate an understanding of national and local developments regarding Child criminal exploitation and a basic understanding of legislation.
- Identifying individuals that are vulnerable to criminal exploitation and county lines through grooming
- Identify signs where a child may be involved in criminal exploitation and county lines.
- Demonstrate how to effectively respond to concerns.
- Demonstrate an understanding of when and how to complete the CSE screening tool kit.
Course Assessment and Certification
- There is no formal examination.
- Assessment will be by continuous assessment by the trainer – there is no ‘test’ paper.
- A Certificate will be issued upon successful completion of course.
