It educates you about what your and your employer’s legal duties are, will provide you with an understanding of fire, familiarise you with fire hazards and fire safety procedures, and outline what your emergency evacuation procedures should entail. With the information delivered on this course, staff will be fully prepared to fulfil their role to enable them to take responsibility for fire safety in the workplace and guarantee your’s and everyone’s wellbeing.
Dysphagia Awareness Training gives learners better knowledge and understanding of dysphagia and common swallowing problems to raise awareness of this common problem encountered when supporting individuals who have had strokes or have dementia and how to support staff to understand their role in caring for people who have developed this condition.
This Falls Prevention Training will provide formative knowledge and understanding as to why falls occur in residential and nursing care homes and possible strategies for preventing and managing falls to improve the quality of care and support given to vulnerable individuals.
