Organisations should provide a safe therapeutic environment to reduce the risk of injury to individuals in their care, staff and visitors. This will help prevent untoward incidents caused by any use of illicit substances/alcohol or dangerous items. This is achieved through staff training and those staff having access to clear guidance and support in instances where action needs to be taken due to suspected or actual possession of dangerous items and/or harmful substances.

This Intramuscular Injections training course is delivered onsite for groups of up to 12 learners and is targeted at all clinical staff and is designed for all enrolled nurses, RGNs, & qualified staff who may have not conducted Intramuscular Injections before or may require a refresher course to update their skill set. Those attending the course will gain updates on their theory skills and will be provided the opportunity to practice Intramuscular Injections before carrying out the procedure in a work environment.

Tidal Training have developed the course so that learners leave with a strong foundation in how eating disorders work, why recovery is so difficult, as well as practical advice on the sources of help.

This Sex Offender Awareness training can be delivered onsite to groups of up to fifteen attendees and is specifically designed for healthcare support staff providing care for individuals who have a history of offending. Staff who are assessing and reviewing risk are well placed to build communication with convicted sex offenders with a view to safeguarding vulnerable children and adults. Providing facts about sexual abuse is one of the ways to raise awareness about sexual abuse.
