This Down’s Syndrome Awareness training aims to build learners awareness and understanding of Down’s Syndrome. The course will assist learners in understanding what it means to have a Down’s Syndrome and help guide them on ways of supporting individuals in their care.
Training is delivered to groups of up to 15 learners.

Learning Outcomes
On completion of the training, learners will be able to demonstrate a much improved knowledge of Down’s Syndrome and their roles and responsibilities when supporting someone.
Assessment & Certification
Assessment will be by continuous assessment by the trainer – there is no ‘test’ paper.
A certificate of attendance will be issued upon successful completion of course.
