Trauma informed practice training is targeted at all staff who are supporting patients/clients who have experienced trauma in their lives. The course will give learners more of an understanding about how to recognise and sensitively respond to individuals in their care. We will look at how to apply trauma informed care and how it works in practice. Following a training needs analysis which gives us more of an insight into your organisation, we can then bespoke the training inline with your organisations policies, procedures and guidelines.Info & Booking Enquiry
What is Trauma Informed Practice?
Trauma Informed Practice is a strengths-based approach, which seeks to understand and respond to the impact of trauma on people’s lives. The approach emphasises psychological, physical, and emotional safety for everyone whilst aiming to empower individuals to re-establish control of their lives.
Trauma-informed practice recognises the prevalence of trauma and its impact on the psychological, emotional and social wellbeing of individuals.
