Supporting Mental Health Awareness
At Tidal, everyday is mental health awareness day. Conversations with clients are wide and diverse, ranging from mental health awareness in the workplace through to more specific clinical aspects such as anxiety disorders and suicide. Over the course of the last 8 years, I can reflect how mental health has become an integral part of so many conversations. And these conversations are important and impactful because they raise awareness and understanding. Over the course of the last year/14 months specifically, my focus centres around 2 pandemics – Covid-19 and mental health. Both having lasting and lifechanging impacts on the people and world around us. One of my key reflections is, the reason we have knowledge is so we can share it and so others can benefit. As mental health becomes more complex and multi faceted, we need to support clear and open communication.
