This Strength Based training has been designed to enable people to consider the individual being supported by service with regard to their independence, resilience and ability to make choices in order to improve their wellbeing and the collaboration required to do so. This collaboration draws on the persons strengths and assets.

Managers, team leaders, support workers who work in care homes, hospitals, community teams, mental health units, learning disability units, domiciliary agencies and Voluntary Organisations. Training is delivered to groups of up to fifteen learners.
Learning Objectives
Participating in this programme will enable the learners to:

- Compare various interventions and identify which approach would be best utilized in different situations.

ROPES is a strengths-based framework devised by Graybeal (2001) to guide practitioners on the broader process of continuous strengths-based assessment.
Certification
Those students who complete the course and are deemed to have reached the required standard will be awarded a certificate of attendance. There is no renewal required.
