- Accident prevention to understand the difference between an intolerance and allergy.
- Recording incidents and accidents.
- Planning for medical emergencies.
- Communication and casualty care.
- Dealing with the unconscious casualty.
- Primary Survey.
- Resuscitation.
- Severe Allergic reactions.
- Anaphylaxis – signs, symptoms and treatment.
- Auto-injector – Anapen, Jextpen and Epipen (Practical demonstrations).
Course Assessment and Certification
Those learners who complete this Anaphylaxis & Epipen Training and are deemed to have reached the required standard will be awarded a certificate of completion which is valid for 2 years.
