Welcome to the “Excellence in Care Series”
We understand that a lot of businesses find it difficult to release all staff to attend training. For this reason we are now running open courses at our training venue in Cheltenham to give organisations and individuals the opportunity to book onto a course with minimum disruption to the working day.
You can attend the courses as an individual or a number of your staff can be booked onto the course. There are a maximum of 12 places available.

Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW)
First aid is defined as the help given to a sick or injured person until full medical treatment is available. The Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 require an employer to provide suitable first aid cover in the workplace. Equally importantly, prompt attention and treatment can define the course of recovery for the casualty.

- Ofqual regulated Level 3 qualification
- Meets HSE requirements
- 6 Guided learning hours (Over 1 day)
- Valid for 3 years
- E-Certificate and course book included
- Assessed by a multi-choice questionnaire and practical observations
- Additional topics, such as Catastrophic Bleeding can be delivered on request
Certification
Upon completion delegates will be issued with an ofqual regulated EFAW certificate which is valid for 3 years.
Cost: £120.00 + Vat per person
Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) 1 Day Open Course to individual members of the public and professionals in their capacity as a nominated First Aider.
