This Epilepsy Awareness Training does provide guidance on how to help someone having a seizure and how to plan ahead to minimise any danger of injury during seizures.
Epilepsy is a neurological disorder characterised by recurrent seizures. Its effects can be extremely distressful and debilitating for sufferers and anyone present during a seizure.
Epilepsy is commonly controlled through medication. However, around 30% of the estimated 45 million people who suffer with epilepsy worldwide will never gain full control and the use of rescue medication may be required. We help minimise risk of injury through the Epilepsy Awareness Course.
