This hoist training course provides theory and practical training in procedures for moving and handling people using hoists. Learners will gain knowledge of the different types of hoists and slings available and the principles of safe moving and handling when using them.

Course Assessment and Certification
Assessment: There is no formal assessment although the trainer will check understanding and involvement of all learners throughout the duration of the course.
Certification: On successful completion of the course students will receive a Hoist Training certificate of attendance which is valid for 12 months.
