Trauma Informed Course FAQs

1. For whom is the All About Trauma training course intended?

Organisations reserve this course for their employees. It is especially made for frontline employees who help people who have suffered trauma. Social workers, healthcare workers, support workers, and anybody else who works closely with vulnerable individuals will find it ideal.

2. What is covered in the training course All About Trauma?

The course examines the effects of different kinds of trauma, presents the concepts of trauma-informed care, and talks about how to use them successfully in practical situations. Understanding trauma, the ACE study, identifying and handling trauma disclosures, and coping with personal compassion fatigue are some of the topics covered.

3. What are the main advantages of finishing this training on trauma-informed care?

Participants will gain knowledge about the various forms of trauma, how to identify them, how to respond appropriately, and how to provide care that is trauma-informed. Through awareness of compassion fatigue, the training also assists staff in understanding the significance of avoiding re-traumatization and preserving their own wellbeing.
