Welcome to the “Excellence in Care Series”
We understand that a lot of businesses find it difficult to release all staff to attend training. For this reason we are now running open courses to give organisations and individuals the opportunity to book onto an open course.
Our open courses are ideal for anyone working in the healthcare sector. You can attend the courses as an individual or a number of your staff can be booked onto the course. There are a maximum of 20 places available on this course.
All About Trauma Training
All About Trauma training is targeted at all frontline staff who are supporting patients/clients who have experienced trauma in their lives. The course will give learners more of an understanding about how to recognise and sensitively respond to individuals in their care. We will look at how to apply trauma informed care and how it works in practice.
All About Trauma for Frontline Workers training is a strengths-based approach, which seeks to understand and respond to the impact of trauma on people’s lives. The approach emphasises psychological, physical, and emotional safety for everyone whilst aiming to empower individuals to re-establish control of their lives.
All About Trauma Training recognises the prevalence of trauma and its impact on the psychological, emotional and social wellbeing of individuals.
The Goal of Trauma Informed Practice Training: Â
The key goal of All About Trauma training is to raise awareness among all staff about the wide impacts of trauma and to prevent the re-traumatisation of clients in service settings that are meant to support and assist healing.
