We usually teach one model every course, either the McKinley T34 or the BD BodyGuard Syringe Driver. The BD BodyGuard is currently replacing the T34 in many places. Let us know when you book if your team uses the BD BodyGuard, and we’ll make the session fit your needs.
3. What will I study in the training for the syringe driver?
You’ll learn how to use a syringe driver securely, how to provide drugs using the device, how to spot and fix common problems, and how to keep good records. You will also take part in real-life situations.
4. Will I be able to practise how to set up a syringe driver?
Yes, there is a hands-on part of the course where you will be able to put up the syringe driver model you learnt about in class with help from your trainer.
5. Will I get a certificate after i’ve completed with the training?
Yes, you’ll get a certificate of attendance after you finish the course and the practical session. This certificate will be valid for two years.
