Learn how to give practical and emotional support to individuals using a recognised framework taught in Psychological First Aid training.

We are the only provider in the United Kingdom providing Level 3 accredited Psychological First Aid Training. This course is typically booked for groups of up to twelve learners and delivered onsite. We have now set up a number of open courses for individuals to access and these will be delivered via live webinar by a Psychologist.

Psychological First Aid (PFA) is the internationally recommended training for supporting people during and after stressful situations and offers guidance on delivering psychosocial care in the immediate aftermath of the event.

Psychological first aid involves humane, supportive and practical help to fellow human beings suffering serious crisis events. It is written for people in a position to help others who have experienced an extremely distressing event. It gives a framework for supporting people in ways that respect their dignity, culture and abilities.

Endorsed by many international agencies, the guide reflects the emerging science and international consensus on how to support people in the immediate aftermath of extremely stressful events.

We’re often asked by our existing and prospective clients. “What’s the difference is between Psychological First Aid (PFA) and Mental Health First Aid (MHFA)?”
