This Phlebotomy Venepuncture training is aimed at clinical staff who are new to venepuncture and need to develop the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills required to perform the procedure safely. The first half of the course covers the anatomy and physiology relevant to venepuncture, along with the underpinning theory and best practice. The second half consists of a practical session in which delegates can practise blood sampling in a controlled environment before carrying out the procedure in the workplace.
