Catheterisation Refresher Training

This catheterisation training course is aimed at nurses and suitably qualified individuals to identify the reasons for catheterisation, become familiar with the handling, insertion and changing of catheters and explain the differences between female and male catheterisation.

This catheterisation refresher training includes a full practical session and is a half day update and refresher for qualified staff who have previously completed Catheterisation Training. All equipment will be supplied for the practical part of the course. The practical element of the course will cover urethral catheters – supra-public practical training is available upon request.
